Our History

North Star Transport Group’s origins begin with our partners at R.C. Moore. Founded as a one-truck operation in 1958, R.C. Moore laid the groundwork for the successful 3PL that they and their sister company (North Star) would become. In order to keep growing alongside our customers, the owners of R.C. Moore would go on to found North Star Transport Group in 1995.

Today, North Star and R.C. Moore continue to provide the same exceptional service, but on a much wider scale. True to our philosophy, as our customers needed more supply chain services, we kept providing more solutions and have grown to 11 locations, 5 warehouses, and over 25,000 carriers.
